Welcome to the Infant Room! Once an infant enters the environment of a child care center, their schedule will often change.  While we respect individual feeding and sleeping schedules we understand that changes occur because an infant room, with more than one baby, is a lot more stimulating and exciting than what your child may be used to at home.

We will however, provide your child with many of the same activities you have at home including an infant swing a comfortable place to relax plus a crib to call their own.

In addition to the above materials opportunities are provided for infants to interact with individual caregivers and other babies.  We find that infants enjoy the company of their babies and will bond with them just as easily as they bond with their caregivers.

Please be assured that your infant will be cared for and loved during the time they spend with us.  We pride ourselves on our teaching staff and their ability to love and enjoy all children.

Please supply the following items:

  • Pre-made bottles daily
  • 2 crib sheets
  • 1 blanket
  • diapers (as needed)
  • Wipes (as needed)
  • 3 sets of clothes (complete) please be aware of the seasons and supply warmer clothes as the weather gets cooler
  • sun hat

We ask that you label everything you send in for your child including bottles, cereal, clothing and bottle covers.  The infant room is a very busy place and sometimes the wrong clothes may be put in the wrong cubby.  We ask for your patience if this happens.

We work very hard to make transitions as easy as possible for working families.  If you have any questions, please feel free to approach one of the infant room staff.

Thank you for allowing us to care for your child.
